Commercial shoot
I'm just learning a bit about studio photography, but my main passion has always been working with a product that brightens our world every single day.
The dynamic colors of yellow light from the late afternoon sun is for me a devine gift. Liked the detail of the nail and the textures of wood and skin in combination with the high light contrasts. Thanks to Lynne! A truely wonderful model and of course for the fine weather here in Suriname ^ - ^

Tells me that you guys in Suriname are bloody lucky, shooting all of these underwear ads!!
Rafael Chan: Thank you Neil for your compliment!
regards
What is with you guys, you have all the beautiful women you'd ever want to shoot or look at and you have such a lovely country to do it in !! I absolutely love the tones here and the comp. A little provocative with the nail behind her, yeah I like, Patrick you have competion my friend.
Rafael Chan: Yes Johnnyg, because of exotic ethnic mixes, Suriname has a lot of beauty to offer
And as for competition, I don't see My Colleagues as competition but as an extra addition to our growth as photographer. I don't know if I have phrased it correct in English, but to my perception we develop better and faster if we work together instead of against eachother Thank you very much for your compliment!!!
Hey Rafael, you are doing good my friend!! Wonderful image, I ove the answers from my two friends above, I think we ar indeed lucky to live in such a beautiful country with such beautiful woman willing to pose in front of our cameras, it of course help that we can handle the camera a bit
Tell my friend Johnny above, that it is not competion, it is complementing each other and show the world the beauty of Suriname!! Lovely Lovely photograph, really well done!! Love the light, the tones and the composition!! A likey my friend!! ======= http://bodynsoul.shutterchance.com/ http://suriname.shutterchance.com/
Rafael Chan: Wow, thank you very very much Patrick for your compliment
It is true that a lot of photographers see each other as competition, but I have a different view on this issue. I think that we can grow (develop) faster with cooperation then as individuals. We are an example of tolerance, just like the harmony between the multi etnic groups in Suriname. For example: No where in the world there is a (Jew) synagogue right next to a (Islam) mosque ....except in Suriname Thank you again my friend, a compliment of you is always highly regarded!
And who gets to shoot with these to fella's? Me!!!!! Yeah man! Going from semi amateur- rookie..to semi-rookie...to semi- mini - half pro....to semi- pro....and then finaly...Pro! Thanks to these two Bro's!
I enjoyed this shoot too and once again i will have to wait to post my version but hey...this one is truly one of the best out of that day. The sun was magnificant! The model has a great personality...life is good!
Awesome awesome
Suby
Rafael Chan: A bit late but a thank you is well deserved
The lighting, the lingerie, the bodycurves!
this is good enough for victoria secrets Rafael! mooie foto man!
Rafael Chan: Thank you Earvin
Indeed, the lighting is what makes this picture worth a lot.
I don't know if you've done this on purpose, but I like the nail in the wall on the back of the model. Well figured abs, well chosen lingerie and I also like the sephia effect. Something for a wall in the lobby of a hotel...
Rafael Chan: No PP at all. Right from the camera. The nail is on purpose. I wasn't sure if it would be a success, but I like these kind of details
For example look closely in the eyes of my photograph "eyes of prayer" and discover a detail Thanks again for the compliment Mario! I like your portraits at http://mimagez.com
Out of all the shots, I think this is a topper!
Rafael Chan: Thanks Nadine,
and may I mention... out of all your photographs, you are a topper
this one really make me catch my breath..nice picture...u've got to give me pointers for a product like this...
Rafael Chan: Hi Shaprisky, photography is writing with light, but you can also paint with light
als die keur van dat kledinstuk wat lichter was, zou het gaaf zijn voor een Victoria Secret reclame!!
Rafael Chan: lol...thank you very much Kavita
